Comparing Canada

Comparing Canada

Comparing Canada!
By: Brooke Wigmore

For my interview’s I interviewed Fernando and my grandfather Ken Wigmore. Fernando has lived here for two years. He moved here with his family when he was thirteen years old. His family decided to move here because his father wanted a good fair paying job. My grandfather has been living in Canada for 63 ½ years. He was born in Lacombe and he really enjoys it around here. He loves how there is lots of land and prairies around this area of Canada. I asked both of my interviewee’s what they liked the most about Canada. Fernando answered, “I like the fact that I can get a job that pays good money so that I can buy things.” My grandpa answered, “I like how there is relatively low taxes, Canada has a nice environment, and that it’s a free country.” After that question I asked what they didn’t like about Canada and they both said that they didn’t like the cold winters. They both most likely said cold winters because its December and it’s the coldest time of the year but. They both enjoy living in Canada besides the whole weather situation.
